My Beautiful Mess
Hi, I'm Lindsey. I am a native Mobilian. My coffee is often reheated, my penmanship resembles chicken scratch, and most days our house looks like a complete disaster. I'm just a wife and mom trying to keep everyone in the house alive. I'm a self-taught Lego engineer and expert water balloon filler. Sometimes my kids run around the yard barefoot and in their undies. Motherhood is messy. No one tells you that in the beginning. But I show up to do my job, just like you, every day.
My best friend is my husband, Nick. We have been married since 2008. I could not have chosen a better person to chase dreams with me. He is the one with a good head on his shoulders. I'm the one with the hair brained ideas. He reigns me in when I get off track and brings me back to reality. He's also loving, supportive and an amazing dad.
Together, we have two beautiful little boys--Christopher (5 years-old) and Nicholas (1 year-old). They are a handful; especially the little one. He's the one in the photo. He puts everything in his mouth, while Christopher will barely eat anything. My world revolves around our little family and our messy daily lives. After many years, they are the reason I picked up my camera again. I know, today is the last day they will ever be this little. I want to capture it all so I can remember every ounce of our beautiful mess.
